Community Involvement

Most Independent Agents feel very strongly about giving back to their community. The President of Cardinal Insurance has that strong belief as well. Linda M. Fisher has been incredibly active throughout her insurance career, serving both within and outside of her industry.

Linda currently serves on the State Board of Directors for the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents, as well as being the Board Liaison for the State’s Young Agent’s Council.

Her past involvement in her industry includes Former President Bay Area Insurance Agents (6 years) – Former Chair – Michigan Young Agent’s Council (7 years) MI Future Board (2 years), Michigan Association of Insurance Agents Planning Taskforce (1998 & 2010) the CIC/CISR Designation Committee and the Professional Development Committee (3 years each) as well as Company/Agency Relations (3 years)

In 2015, Linda will began working with the Michigan Make A Wish organization to establish more of a presence in Northern Michigan. This is a charity that she has long desired to work with. Linda not only offered to volunteer her time, but has gathered up a group of over 17 individuals who will volunteer with her to help out this great organization.

Linda’s former community involvement includes: Volunteer – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Michigan – Board of Directors – Goodwill Industries, Committee Volunteer – Child & Family Services of Northern Michigan as well as the Women’s Council of Realtors Ways & Means Chair and Co-Chair and Chair of WCR’s annual ‘Bras For A Cause’ fundraiser for 4 years. During the time she served that event, over $85,000 was raised and donated to Munson’s Women’s Cancer Fund.
