Hello There.

My name is Linda Fisher, and as the CEO of Cardinal Insurance Group, I appreciate your stopping by to visit us and to learn a little bit more about myself, our agency, and our amazing Cardinal Team!

At the young age of 18, I began working at an insurance agency answering phones just to pay for college. I quickly transitioned to customer service in personal lines (that just means your auto and home – personal stuff we protect), and then after 3 years, having found that I loved the challenge of sales in the insurance industry, I became a commission ONLY sales producer. I know! What? No salary or hourly pay? Nope! 100% commissioned by the time I was 21! I was fortunate to have a husband who worked in the oilfield and with no children, we could live on his pay plus my ‘very small’ commission income, learning to just really love macaroni and cheese and hot dogs. Yum – ok maybe not so much but it worked at the time.

Fast forward 13 more years, and I took the major leap from sales to starting an agency from scratch, opening the doors of my agency on 7/1/2004. I did so with the mantra in my head of “If you build it, they will come” and how incredibly blessed I was that almost 70% of my clients followed!

My passions are evident to all that know me and follow our agency’s journey. Taking care of people since 1988 isn’t just the agency’s tag line, it’s our WHY! With 35+ years of volunteer work serving on board and committees for Goodwill Industries, Child & Family Services, and Women’s Council of Realtors as well as spending more than 20 years serving on local, State and national boards within the insurance industry, my background serving others is extensive. As a Past President of the Bay Area Independent Insurance Agents Association, Past Chair of the Michigan Young Agent’s Council and past District State Board Director for the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents as well as a Lead Volunteer for Michigan-Make-A Wish, my life has truly been devoted to helping others.

Now after almost 35 years, having assembled an Amazing Team of Agents, and having raised my now grown son who works in the agency as our Marketing Director, I’m loving spending time doing more traveling as I continue working full time transitioning back to Sales, Leadership and Mentoring the next generation of Cardinals.
