My name is Linda Fisher, and as the Founder and CEO of Cardinal Insurance Group, I appreciate your stopping by to learn a bit more about myself, our agency, or the amazing Cardinal Team.
My insurance career began fresh out of high school as a means to pay for college, and surprisingly, it turned into a lifelong passion of mine to take care of people. I ended up being a receptionist for 8 months, a customer service representative for 2 years and then a 100% commissioned sales producer for 13 years.
In 2004 having been declined the opportunity to purchase ownership in the agency I was producing for, I started my own independent agency with the hope that ‘if you build it, they will come’. How incredibly thankful that companies and clients alike followed.
My passions are evident to all that know me and follow our agency’s journey. Taking care of people since 1988 isn’t just the agency’s tag line, it’s our WHY! With 35+ years of volunteer work serving on board and committees for Goodwill Industries, Child & Family Services, and Women’s Council of Realtors as well as spending more than 20 years serving on local, State and national boards within the insurance industry, my background serving others is extensive. As a Past President of the Bay Area Independent Insurance Agents Association, Past Chair of the Michigan Young Agent’s Council and past District State Board Director for the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents as well as a Lead Volunteer for Michigan-Make-A Wish, my life has truly been devoted to helping others.
With an excess of 36 years of providing insurance, education and consultation, I am focusing on educating and training the next generation of Cardinals while still writing new clients and expanding into multiple states to respond to our current client’s needs as they purchase property and businesses elsewhere.
